#Trony negozi how to#

There's much to be said for being a little apologetic and vulnerable when it makes sense to be. I think that would have a humanizing effect for the brand.

Edit: If Meta put some "We apologize we messed up with the design trade-off for the controllers" messaging on the Oculus site (not in those words), along with this solution. Maybe also add a product like this to the store for people who are just buying new batteries for their controllers. I'm not sure why the current trade-off was chosen (reducing cost by $10?), but since it's already happened and changing the design might take a while, I'd recommend just hacking a solution to improve user experience. Of course, ideally you'd want to modify the controllers to have external charging ports. Plus, the small extra charging cable that comes with them should be storable in existing cases for the Quest.

Edit: For reference, this is a video of work done in a paper by NVidia that shows what kind of graphical transformations can be done in real time: YouTube - Two Minute Papers - A Video Game That Looks Like Reality!Īs a short term fix, I'd recommend shipping the Quest controllers with batteries like these: This would be a significant improvement over people having to buy regular AA batteries, or buy chargeable batteries with their own independent charger. Or, temporarily you could make it exclusive to people with higher-end PCs connected over Wi Fi 6, so you can offload the processing. So in one or two iterations of the hardware, it should be possible. I'm not sure if you could pull it off with Project Cambria hardware, but there is real time style transfer that is fast enough to re-skin existing games smoothly. It would also be kinda cool if the people who walked into your space appeared to be wearing clothes that match the theme you've selected for your world. Sure, you may have to tweak the representation of some objects but if you're going to be in your home space a lot, you can afford to spend a little time personalizing it. And it would be better than regular mixed reality which fundamentally limits you to your existing environment. So, I was thinking: If you could apply a stable form of style transfer on your actual room then you wouldn't need the guardian to move around or interact with objects. I was looking at the space home screen, and it feels quite peaceful to be in that environment.
